Day 3: 100 Days Fasting & Prayer

Day 3: MONDAY 20TH MAY, 2024 COME BACK TO GOD Isaiah 1:18, Luke 15:11-24, Isaiah 31:6 Dictionary defines sin as a violation of God's will or religious law. Sin separates us from God. It renders your prayers inpotent and ineffective. The scripture says in Isaiah 59:1-2, Do not think that the Lord is too weak to save you or too deafto hear your call for help. It is because of your sins that separate you from God when you try to worship Him Repent from your sins because the scripture says in Roman 6:23 that the wages of sin is death. Pray and ask God to forgive your sins and grant you grace to live above sin. Remember the story of the prodigal son as recorded in the scripture in Luke 15:11-24, who asked for and collected from his father his share of his property. He sold his share, travelled to a far country where he squandered all the money. Later, he came back after suffering for a while, because he had no money. The scripture recorded in Luke 15:17 that he came to his senses and decided to return to his father, to ask for forgiveness for his misdeeds. He did and his father forgave him and celebrated his coming back, stating that he was dead, but now alive and that he was lost, but now found. Also remember the story of Mary Magdalene who was to be stoned to death because of her sins and the Lord saved her life. She repented and became one of his disciples John 8:1-11. Similarly, remember the story of the good thief that repented on the cross where he was crucified for his sins with Jesus. That was an eternal transformation, the thief said Jesus, remember me When you come into your Kingdom. Luke 23:42. Vacate back to God and ask for forgiveness of your sins and he will certainly forgive you. Before the end of this program, you will sing a new song. You shall from your sins. Come testify and your testimony shall be great, in the name of Jesus. PRAYER POINTS 1. Lord, I am sorry for my sins, by your mercy, forgive me and those of my family 2. Lord, by your mercy grant me the grace not to sin again. 3. My father, My father, forgive the sins of my ancestors and cancel the consequences of their sins following me and my family in the name of Jesus. 4. Pray for our Spiritual Director, Evang.
